My Kind Of Perfect Drive Away Cancer Post
i think pretty much every person has been touched by cancer. if you haven’t had cancer yourself, you probably know someone who has it, survived it, or died from it.
for me, it started when i was six months old. my nana (my mom’s mom) died in 1981 from ovarian cancer. she was only 57.
when i was in 8th grade, my grandpa (my dad’s dad) died from lung cancer.
after graduating from college, my uncle (my mom’s brother) died from cancer that had spread from his lungs to his bones and eventually his blood. he died 20 days after he was diagnosed.
i could go on…because i’ve been touched by loss my whole life. so many important people in my life have passed on…
but as sad as the stories of cancer can be, this isn’t a sad story.
